MEIFIS NINADA & CROOKAIR...

...are a producer duo from Zurich. As a drummer & bassist playing together as a rhythm section in an Afro-Soul band, they quickly realised that their genre, beat and groove preferences were very close: THE perfect basis to work together as producers of electronic music. Their musical partnership has been very fruitful so far.
Meifis Ninada & Crookair have been creating electronic tracks for 4 years now. Their versatility ranges from reggae, dancehall, house, techno and hip-hop to R'n'B. In 2020, they were able to attract two talented vocalists for their tracks.

Musical history
Simon a.k.a. Meifis Ninada was a drummer and creative musician in various bands in Zürich as well as in the brass-funk band Brassscode in central Switzerland. Markus a.k.a. Crookair was bassist in the indie band My Eve Proposal and plucked double bass in Shortbread Cookies Magical String Orchestra. In addition, he proved his flair for hits and grooves under the name Crookair, as a bastard pop bootlegger of the first hour. His mash-up of Züri West vs. 50 Cent, "I schänke dir 21 Questions", made it onto the SRF3 playlist. In 2017, as one half of the collaboration project Fred&Walt, he released the album "Songs from the Walt": a danceable guitar record with the crème-de-la-crème of Zurich singers from a wide variety of musical backgrounds.

Musical background

With soul singer Soe Blue, 4 songs have been released so far until Winter 2022. Thank you all for this wonderfull music, collab!

3. "Muse": an ethno house track about the manifestation of universal energies of joy, love, life energy, freedom
4. "My First Love": a hip-hop/r'n'b track about the first great love.

Before autumn we are about to release our first Reggae song, which is the third collab with Pascal Schulz, the singer from Gran Noir. "Can’t you see" is a song about breaking away from all the things that ware one down at times. Reggae Vibes will hit you, so that you feel no pain.
